Next Meeting: Wednesday, October 15 at 7:00 pm at the Plainfield Public Library. It is our General Membership meeting and we will be discussing, planning and setting dates for next year’s events and projects. We are always looking for new ideas so we encourage and ask our members and anyone else interested to attend. Thank you!

Conservation Plainfield would like to recognize and thank the following groups for their efforts to make a difference during Plainfield Fall Clean-Up Week, September 27 through October 4.
Junior Troop 184, which included 15 girls and their parents/siblings, cleaned up around the retention pond and trail in the Crossings at Wolf Creek and Champion Creek Subdivisions, as well as around Freedom Elementary. In all 13 garbage bags were filled.
The Bear Scouts of Pack 81, Den 1, cleaned up around the woods at Van Horn Woods on Sunday, September 28. Their Scout Leader said they had a great time and were proud of what they accomplished.
Brownie Troop 71045 cleaned up around Crystal Lawns Elementary on Tuesday, September 30th.

Conservation Plainfield is partnering with The Conservation Foundation to assist with consultation services and certifications of The Foundation's Conservation @ Home Program in Plainfield, as well as providing additional events, programming and projects throughout the year.
