About Us
Conservation Plainfield was founded in 2001 as a cooperative venture of various government agencies and residents in the Plainfield community. Representatives meet on a monthly basis to discuss conservation issues, determine ways to increase the public’s environmental awareness, and to offer educational opportunities for school-enrolled students and the community at large. Conservation Plainfield is a not-for-profit corporation in the State of Illinois. Conservation Plainfield’s mission is executed through various programs, events, classes and projects.
