“Plainfield Clean-Up Week – it’s our community, let’s ALL help keep it looking its best!“ Individuals, businesses & community organizations are encouraged to get outside the week of May 5th to remove unsightly litter and debris from areas they most frequently visit or pass through. Cleaning up even a few pieces of trash or recyclables can make a big difference and may help prevent future littering. For more updated information on Plainfield Clean-Up Week, including safety tips, litter disposal/ recycling information, information on litter creation/prevention, and a list of sites to clean up email, info@conservationplainfield.com .  

This is a free event, held annually that will feature a range of informative environmental education displays; vendors offering sustainable products and services; and fun games, activities and entertainment for all ages; and native plant sale and rain barrel sale.  The Expo kicks off Plainfield Spring Clean-Up Week  from May 5th to May 12th.
